Abercam offers a $10 day pass for those of you who are staying in the area and want to relax and enjoy the day in a clothing optional heated pool surrounded by the beauty of the Arenal area. With the day pass comes 2 complimentary beers, soft drinks, or juices. Sorry ladies... this is a men only resort.

I’ve mentioned we spend quite a bit of time at Abercam La Fortuna, the town’s first and only MEN ONLY gay Hotel, for the simple reason Tim and Wayne have become good friends of ours. I give them BIG PROPS for having the BALLS to open an exclusively GAY hotel, because take my word, La Fortuna is NOT San José, and GAY isn’t exactly embraced. Put it this way, La Fortuna wouldn’t mind if you ROTTED in the CLOSET waiting for 'GAY' to open the door... continue reading.
